WorkForce Development
The Partnership believes that our students represent the next generation of business leaders and contributors. We support the development and facilitation of strategies for engaging area youth in local industries starting in elementary school and continuing through post-secondary education. The Partnership aims to help reduce the outmigration of our youth by exposing students to local businesses and industries while building bridges between educational programs and employment opportunities in The County. One key area of focus is supporting our youth who are considering work in the skilled trades to help address growing local and nationwide shortage trends.
The Aroostook Partnership also believes that the professional development of rising talent fuels the strengths and successes of businesses in northern Maine. We are proud to support programs designed to connect, engage, and provide working professionals with opportunities to hone their professional and leadership skills.
