Advocacy

Our advocacy efforts focus on economic development policy and business advocacy at
local, state, and federal levels. We work to ensure our voice is heard in support of or in
opposition to specific legislative policies in a nonpartisan manner. We strive to inform
government leaders about how their positions impact County businesses and the health
of our economy. The Aroostook Partnership is currently focused on influencing
legislation around childcare, energy, and housing – areas that have broad-reaching
implications for our community.
